A total of 10 advanced Schindler elevators have been installed at Le Meridien Al Aqah beach resort, says Techno Lift, the Dubai-based dealer for Schindler lifts.

At the hotel, the company supplied and installed four passenger lifts which have a capacity of 1,000 kg, a travel speed of 2.5 m/sec, and serve 23 stops; five service lifts with 1,350 kg capacity, 2.5 m/sec speed and serving 24 stops; and one panorama lift with 800 kg capacity, 1.0 m/sec speed and two stops.

Schindler elevators installed at the hotel are provided with top-of-the-range drives and the gearless machines are combined with state-of-the-art Miconic controls which ensure efficient traffic handling, says the company.

The benefits cited for Miconic TX include:

Other major projects currently being executed by the company include the Capricorn Towers, Century Mall and Al Safir Mall, all in Dubai.
