GERMAN fastener manufacturer Ejot has appointed Dirk Homrighausen as the new managing director for its Sharjah-based subsidiary Ejot Middle East.
Homrighausen brings with him a wealth of experience in the construction industry, having previously spent 18 years with EJOT UK, including eight years as its managing director. At the Middle East subsidiary, he will be supported by a young team of staff in bringing Ejot to the forefront of the minds of people looking for the best the industry has to offer in this region.
Ejot has also appointed Glenn Patrick (formerly with ADCC in Qatar) as the company’s new business development manager for the GCC region, further strengthening Ejot’s Middle East team.
Ejot is recognised globally as a brand leader, manufacturing roofing and cladding fasteners for virtually all leading metal roofing and cladding systems, from corrugated fasteners to rooflight installation to specially coated fasteners.
Backed by almost a century of German manufacturing pedigree, Ejot says it fully understands the performance requirements of a roofing fastener and its environmental responsibilities.
Thanks to its close working partnerships with all major roll formers, Ejot has developed an extensive array of well-specified fasteners, engineered from the highest grade of carbon and stainless steel, as well as an equally sophisticated portfolio of coatings and finishes for every application, the company said.
Some of Ejot’s completed projects in the UAE include Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi and the Burj Khalifa and The Address Hotel in Dubai. One of its top ongoing projects in the region is King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Centre (Kapsarc) in Saudi Arabia.
It also holds credit for prominent global projects such as the Wembley Stadium in the UK, the Norsk Hydro Aluminium production plant in Norway and Chek Lap Kok Airport in Hong Kong.
