BELHASA Projects, the region’s largest swimming pool construction company, has bagged seven prestigious awards at the Master Pools Guild Excellence Awards (USA) for 2011.

The Master Pools Guild is a pre-eminent network of the world’s finest pool builders and Belhasa Projects said it is the only Middle East pool builder that is a member. The award is yet another achievement for the company, which also scooped the Spata (UK) awards earlier this year.

Three commercial pools constructed by the company for India Club in Dubai, Dubai Ladies Club and Le Meriden Dubai were selected for Bronze, Silver and Gold awards in the commercial pools category; and four residential pools by Belhasa Projects won one Silver and three Bronze awards.

Malay Shah, general manager, Belhasa Projects, said: “It is an honour to win at the Master Pools Guild Excellence Awards, and we are thrilled to have won the maximum number of awards by a single company.

“Our designs were recognised for creativity, aesthetic beauty and technical superiority. Apart from the pools, we also designed and constructed the surrounding water and rock features, tiling, hard landscaping and ancillary structures and also facilities like Jacuzzis.”
