Bashayer is an ultra-exclusive waterfront community project featuring 157 villas.
Modon has awarded the main construction contract for two of its residential developments on Hudayriyat Island: Nawayef East and Nawayef West. With a total value of AED5 billion ($1.36 billion), the contract is the largest awarded for residential projects in Abu Dhabi in 2025.
The contract is for construction of 735 luxury villas, ranging in size from 350 to 2,700 sq m. These homes will be positioned on the world’s largest man-made hills, rising to heights of 45 m and 55 m respectively – a first for residential developments in the area.
Meanwhile, Modon has unveiled Bashayer, an ultra-exclusive waterfront community development with views of AlBateen and Abu Dhabi’s skyline.
A gated villa community, Bashayer boasts 157 villas offering a clubhouse with a rooftop infinity pool, all set within an open green park that includes a children’s playground and multiple sports courts.
Close to the villas, 330 premium residences are situated in two low-rise terraced buildings. A 3.5-km waterfront promenade features walkable piers extending into the water. The neighbourhood offers ultra-premium four- and five-bedroom villas and one- to three-bed apartments, including four-bed penthouses.
Among other developments, last month (December), Modon awarded AED1 billion ($272 million) contracts to Trojan Construction Group for execution of the Maysan project on Reem Island.
The contract is for construction of two modern and fully integrated residential communities within Maysan. The first, Mayar, consists of 60 townhouses and 132 stacked maisonettes – a new concept in Abu Dhabi – nestled within a secure, gated community. The second district, Thoraya, features 184 townhouses, guarded by a private entrance.
