HORMANN has established its own foreign subsidiary in the Middle East and will provide complete solutions for doors and loading sites as well as a comprehensive range of related services.
Europe’s leading manufacturer of doors for private and commercial buildings announced the move at The Big 5, which was held in Dubai, UAE, last month.
Headquartered in the Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai, Hörmann Middle East has an adjacent warehouse area of 1,500 sq m with a strong sales team covering Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Iran and Kuwait.
The company has also established ties with dealers and fitting companies in the region to further improve delivery times.
Christoph Hormann, owner of Hörmann, said: “The numerous expansion prospects available throughout the Middle East’s resilient property and construction markets influenced our decision to set up a permanent base in the region.”
“Although our current focus is on the UAE, we are also eyeing prospects in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, Iran and Egypt. The advantage of setting up our regional hub in the Jebel Ali Free Zone is that we are easily accessible to the GCC and the rest of the Middle East,” said Darius Khanloo, managing director of Hormann Middle East.
