Major order ... as many as 1,800 appliances were supplied for the project.

THE white goods that add a touch of modernity, convenience and comfort to every home within Dhahran Tower have come from Zagzoog for Home Appliances, a leading Saudi supplier with more than five decades of experience in the home appliances market.

The company is supplying as many as 1,800 appliances for nearly 300 apartments at the Dhahran Tower under a SR4 million ($1.07 million contract). The contract was secured against stiff competition from other companies in the home appliances market, according to Yaser Zagzoog, operation manager.

“Our competitive advantages were the quality of our projects and service in the Eastern region and as well as nationwide,” he says.

All products supplied – including refrigerators, washing machines and dryers from Whirlpool and ovens and hoods from Glemgas – are from brands which are world-renowned for their high quality and energy-saving features. The company started installation work in April and expects to complete its contract early next year.

“So far, about 60 per cent of the products for the project have been installed,” says Zagzoog.
