Sawary is proud to be associated with the landmark Dhahran Tower project.

SAWARY Energy, the sole distributor in Saudi Arabia for US power generator company Kohler, has been tasked with the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a standby generator set for the 46-storey Dhahran Tower project.

According to Abdul Waseh Khan, branch manager for Eastern Province, the company’s scope of work on the project includes installation of a Kohler electric diesel generator, radiator ducts, exhaust and fuel systems and automatic transfer switches. The diesel generator along with accessories and control equipment will be supplied as an ancillary unit and installed in a generator room.

“We are proud to be associated with this major residential tower project, which enjoys a strategic location,” he says.
Sawary Energy, established in 1975, is a total power solutions company specialising in the field of electrical power generation and distribution. It has achieved great success by offering Kohler power solutions from the US to various clients across the Saudi Arabia, according to Khan.

The company, certified by the Environment Protection Agency (EPA), is a one-stop source for complete power solutions, which include supply and installation of Kohler diesel engine-driven power generators, automatic or manual transfer switches, switchgear, distribution panels, automatic or manual paralleling systems, battery chargers, fabrication of soundproof enclosures, fuel tanks, fuel transfer pumps, fuel piping works and exhaust systems for power houses.
Its installation services for power generator sets include site inspection, material listing, cabling, fuel piping, testing, commissioning and site training for its customers’ operators and technicians.

The company’s generator sets sales division offers EPA-compliant Kohler generator sets ranging in size from 20 to 3,250 kW. “Our sales team consists of qualified engineers who are always ready to support and advise clients on the best economical power solutions,” says Khan.

In addition, the company also supports clients in the design and installation of electrical power distribution networks, right from concept to completion.

Sawary also has a fleet of generators, ranging from 30 to 2,000 kW available on short- or long-term leases. The company’s power rental services include load calculations, delivery to site, periodic maintenance and round-the-clock back-up services.

Khan says that all power rental units are compact packages equipped with circuit breakers and fuel tanks, and boast low sound levels to suit any applications.

To ensure reliable after-sales support, Sawary maintains a sufficient stock of spare parts and filters for the Kohler generator range. This apart, being the sole distributor for Baldwin Filters from the US, it keeps a sufficient stock of filters to fit various types of diesel engines.

“Apart from spare parts sales outlets, our company’s delivery vehicles are ready to deliver spare parts and filters at project sites for the convenience of customers,” says Khan.

The fleet of mobile service vehicles, including a team of skilled technicians, is ready to provide back-up services round the clock at sites throughout Saudi Arabia.

In addition, Sawary Energy has a panel factory, which manufactures and supplies a wide range of switchgear, automatic transfer switches, controls, and synchronising systems.

“Our in-house fabrication facility for soundproof enclosures and our panel factory manufactures customised controls and offers short deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction,” Khan adds.

The company has a vast network of branches across the kingdom, including in Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah and Dammam.
Sawary has executed some of the most demanding installations through the kingdom.
