National Marketing Comp-any (NMC) of Saudi Arabia, a leader in the marketing and distribution of PVC products, plans to launch new products and expand manufacturing capacity to keep pace with growing demand.

NMC, which boasts a 25 per cent share of the Saudi market is, looking at undertaking the expansion and techology upgrade in partnership with sister concern New Products Industries Factory (Neproplast).
The expansion and upgrade will help NMC improve the high quality of its products, says a spokesman for the company.
Along with Neproplast, a principal supplier of cPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) raw material Lubrizol, NMC is also looking at introducing several new product lines, which will be announced soon, he adds.
Commenting on the growth in the local market, he says: “In the last two to three years, the Saudi market has been witnessing tremendous growth and an increased demand for PVC and plumbing materials. This has translated into larger sales volumes, with clients appreciating not just the quality but also the benefits that our products can offer in the construction of housing, apartments, hospitals, schools and shopping malls.”
He adds: “As a result, we have not only exceeded our targets, but also increased our output over the past year as a response to the rising demand both in the private and government sectors. In addition, the expansion plans of Saudi Aramco and Sabic (Saudi Basic Industries Company) have also contributed in a large way to this growth. We are optimistic of a great year ahead, given the stronger market conditions that are fuelling the construction sector and the increase in infrastructure-related projects in the kingdom.”
As a specialist ‘manufacturer’ and supplier of PVC products, NMC is involved in the delivery of PVC components that can ensure faster construction, better quality and lower costs, he says.
Established in 1970 to distribute plastic pipes produced by Neproplast, NMC is a parent company within the Isam Kabbani and Partners Group of companies and currently has more than 18 branches located in across Saudi Arabia.
