Sovereign Stainless Fabrications says it is one of the UK's leading fabricators of top-quality bespoke architectural metalwork, undertaking prestigious projects from initial design and technical advice through to supply, processing, finishing and final installation.

''Sovereign specialises in the manufacture of balustrades, staircases and canopies, however the company relishes projects which are architecturally challenging which only specialist firms can successfully achieve,'' a company spokesman says.

Sovereign, he says, has recently completed several major export projects of exceptionally high-quality including government buildings in Libya, a Royal palace in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the headquarters of a prestigious petroleum company in Mumbai, India as well as a number of smaller projects throughout the Middle East. Currently in the process of tendering for several multi-million-dollar projects in the Middle East, Sovereign is interested in further contract enquiries from new parties, he says.

The company has recently launched a new 'avant garde' range which is designed specifically for its suitability to export contracts. ''Semi-modular balustrading combines modular components with bespoke handrails and infill panels using different materials to create a visually striking effect not normally possible with a fully-fabricated system,'' the spokesman says. '''avant garde' allows specifiers a greater degree of design flexibility, optimising the number of standard cast components with precision mechanical joints for cleaner lines which minimise the number of visible joints, as all fixings are hidden from view resulting in flowing lines and added security.

''Moreover, Sovereign has purposely created 'avant garde' to be exported in easily manageable consignments allowing for a cost-effective yet high-quality installation anywhere in the world,'' he says.

A new brochure detailing the 'avant garde' range will be available in the New Year, he adds.
