The Taj Palace ... a luxury creation from HBA's designers.

Hirsch Bedner Associates' (HBA) newest project in the region, the Taj Palace Dubai, a five-star deluxe city hotel, features a contemporary design with distinctive Arabic elements. The architecture of the building is asymmetrical, with a stepped feature on the upper floors of the hotel entrance. An atrium with palm tree gardens ascends from the lobby to the 8th floor of the hotel.

The hotel's lobby features a gray marble high-polish floor and is furnished in a transitional style, with glass accessories throughout. The lobby's 26.5 ft ceiling accents of iridescent tiles for added interest and opulence.

The hotel's themed restaurants include Turkish, Japanese, Indian and Italian cuisine. Each is designed to provide guests with a feeling of stepping into another land, heightening the guest's dining experience. For special events, the hotel features a spectacular tented ballroom on the sixth floor level, an opulent space with a stretched canvas ceiling and draped fabric walls

Typical guestrooms were all created from oversized rooms, with hardwood floors covered with hand-tufted area rugs. Keeping with local customs, the room follows the desired traditional style. The hotel also features two Royal suites, which also follow a luxurious residential style. Rich fabrics and materials keep the space grand yet comfortable for guests.

At the Taj Palace Dubai, HBA designers successfully created a luxury hotel that was both contemporary and comfortable while still maintaining a distinct "sense of place."
