International Electro-Mechanical Services Company (LLC) Dubai says it is proud to have carried out the electrical and plumbing works of Taj Palace Hotel, Dubai, which it describes as a symbol of engineering excellence.

The group companies of IEMSC have been associated with the Taj Group since their inception and carried out the following prestigious projects: Taj Samudra, Sri Lanka; Sabba' Hotel, Sana'a, Yemen; and the renovation of the old Taj Hotel, Bombay, Fort Aguada Hotel in Goa, Jal Mahal Palace Hotel in Jaipur, and Taj International in Lucknow - all in India.

The company started work on the prestigious Taj Palace, Dubai, in September 1999 and completed it in May 2001.

According to a spokesman for IEMSC, the works executed using latest engineering skills and technology included power and lighting distribution and standby power supply system, structured cabling for telephone and data and master antenna TV system, sophisticated BMS system for complete monitoring and control, fire-fighting and fire detection systems comprising fire alarm, voice execution and background music; the security system comprising CCTV (closed circuit television) and security surveillance system covering all entry and lift lobbies, plumbing systems including LPG distribution and gas leakage detection system for various kitchens and restaurants, water treatment plant, boilers and calorifiers.

One of the pioneer MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) contracting companies - established in Dubai in the early 1970s on the sound principles of quality, safety, reliability and customer satisfaction - IEMSC ranks among the very few MEP contractors to have carried out works at more than 25 prestigious five-star hotels in various parts of the world.

In the recent past, this ISO 9002-certified company has executed the MEP works for: Le Meridien - phase II and III, JW Marriott - phase II, Hilton Dubai Jumeirah and Holiday Inn, all in Dubai; Radisson Plaza Beach Resort and Hilton Beach Resort, both in Mauritius; and ITC Sheraton in Bombay, India.

IEMSC has carried out various prestigious projects in the UAE, Oman, Iraq, Libya, Jordan, Mauritius, Nigeria, Yemen, Sri Lanka and India.
