Metal finishes at the Taj Palace were executed by Leader Metal Industries of the UAE.

Part of the Juma Al Majid Group, Leader Metal Industries specialises in architectural metal fabrication and has been associated with a number of prestigious hotels, commercial and residential projects within the UAE.

"The fit-out of Taj Palace Hotel in Dubai demonstrates Leader Metal's capability, workmanship and eye for detail," says a company spokesman. "The quality of work - which included stainless steel railings, glazed balustrades, hood cladding in stainless steel, brass and bronze special finishes, wrought iron railings, glazed screens and metal furniture - has been well appreciated."

Some of its other prestigious projects are Children's City (architectural metal works, structural architectural works and exhibits), Al Fattan Plaza (stainless steel railings), The Fairmont Dubai (architectural metal and interior fit-out metal works), Hyundai's showroom in Dubai (stainless steel elliptical column cladding), the Business Centre for Sarco in Dubai (stainless steel works) and the Al Nahda Residential Complex (wrought iron railings).

Currently, the company is executing interior fit-out work on the Grand Hyatt, the most prestigious hotel project currently under way in Dubai.

"The scope of work covers the entire spectrum of Leader Metal's wide product range, that is, architectural metal works, wrought iron works and metal furniture," says the spokesman.
