
Six consultants have been chosen for the $1.63 billion Dubai Festival City, which will be a mixed-use development spread over 300 acres by the Dubai Creek near Garhoud Bridge.
The Dh6 billion ($1.63 billion) project is being developed by Al Futtaim Investments for the Abdullah Al Futtaim Group.
The Jerde Partnership International from the US has been chosen as the architect, and the Dubai-based Turner International as the project manager.
Other consultants named are Maunsell Consultancy Services of the UK for civil engineering and traffic services, Mouchel & Partners, also from the UK, for marine works and environmental engineering, TDA International of the US for transportation engineering, and Cini-Little International of the US for materials and waste management expertise.
The project will be built in phases over the next four years.
