Reynaers Middle East, a leading Bahrain-based aluminium systems supplier, has launched a new high-quality economic profile system for doors and windows that has been designed to offer a host of advantages to fabricators, architects, investors and the end-users.
The ES 45Pa, as it is called, has been designed and developed in Europe and is supported by a 10-year company guarantee. It can be utilised for both windows and window doors, with an inward or outward opening based on the same frame and double casement profiles.
Both the outward and inward opening profiles have the same outer frame, and a glazing bead height of 22 mm which can be reused, thus making the ES 45Pa economical. Both types have an optimised wall thickness with the inward system having a 7-mm gap in the window frame to make fabrication less tolerance sensitive. The systems come with the Euro groove for hardware. The building in-depth for both types is 45 mm.
The outward opening type has a central gasket for good class performances, while the inward system has an outside gasket to minimise water infiltration. Thanks to different gasket options available, three different performance levels are offered for up to 600 Pa of watertightness.
The opening specifications for both outward and inward types vary. For the outward opening system, they include side hung with hinges, side hung with friction stays, top hung with hinges, top hung with friction stays an double casement, with the maximum vent weight being 90 kg, vent height being 1,700 mm and width being 1,350 mm.

Ali Khalaf, managing director of Reynaers Middle East, comments: “The ES 45Pa brings benefits for the fabricators, architects, investors and end users.”
For fabricators, the ES 45Pa rationalises articles, the frame profile, gaskets and corner cleats, and simplifies logistics. The Euro groove allows a free choice of gear, even for the outward opening window. The system is designed to be less tolerance-sensitive, hence making fabrication economical.”
Architects can benefit from different performance levels by using the gasket options offered. For investors and users, the ES 45Pa offers high European quality, an attractive price level and good performance.

Reynaers Middle East has since 2004 been aggressively promoting aluminium systems from its Belgium-headquartered parent company Reynaers Aluminium, a leading supplier of innovative and sustainable architectural aluminium solutions.
Khalaf says the company is a regular participant at local exhibitions, which helps it keep in touch with the market. It exhibited at two key expos last month – at Windoorex, an international exhibition on windows, doors and facades which was held in Egypt (April 12 to 14), and at gulfBID, a premier construction event staged in Bahrain (April 24 to 26) – and will be at Project Lebanon next month (June 5 to 8), at the Beirut International Exhibition Centre, Lebanon, where it will showcase some of its popular products.
The aluminium systems supplier also conducted a successful seminar in Riyadh last month (April 17) where prominent construction professionals were briefed about Reynaers systems.
Reynaers offers a wide variety of window and door systems, curtain-walling, sliding systems, sun screening, conservatories, skylights, screens and systems to incorporate blinds and ventilation grids.
