Perfect partitions

Laidlaw ... one-stop shop for interior specification.

WITH a key focus on partitioning systems from its Komfort division, Laidlaw Interiors Group International (LIGI) will be exhibiting its expanding range of solutions when it exhibits at The Big 5 show this year.

Combining leading interiors knowledge and expertise, LIGI will be on hand to provide visitors with an insight into the ways in which its UK-based parent firm the Laidlaw Interiors Group (LIG) can help on any project, big or small, on a local and international level.

LIGI provides quality solutions in architectural ironmongery, steel and timber doorsets, handrail and balustrading, access control, partitioning systems and cubicle systems within the commercial, retail, education, health, leisure and government institution sectors of the construction industry. These solutions are offered from within its divisions – Laidlaw, Komfort, Leaderflush Shapland, Fitzpatrick, Longden, Cubicle Systems and Tufwell Glass.

Clive Edgley, international sales and operations director for LIGI says: “LIGI can provide a solution that meets most needs by combining our specialist expertise to deliver a ‘one-stop shop’ for interior specification. LIGI has offices in Dubai and Qatar. Owing to this central location, we’ve supplied products to many high-profile projects across the region including the Meydan Grandstand, Zayed University, Sorbonne University and Eastern Mangroves resort, all in the UAE.”

He continues: “Our key focus at The Big 5 this year is on our partitioning systems from Komfort. We have previously supplied our LS90 glass partitioning system to Barwa Bank headquarters and the Lusail Visitor Complex in Qatar and the Kuwait Oil Company headquarters in Kuwait, to name just a few projects in the region. This highlights our expertise when working with such systems.

“Our presence at The Big 5 in fact provides us with the ideal opportunity to show visitors just how cohesive our approach to integrated specification is. This is because we can offer a wide range of products and services from just one source. Not only does this reduce the number of contacts required but can also help to ensure a quick and smooth delivery from the very initial enquiry right through to the completed project,” adds Edgley.

Active throughout the Middle East, South East Asia and India for some time, LIGI is utilising its knowledge of the industry in these areas to ensure a greater presence throughout the Gulf, providing its quality architectural ironmongery, steel and timber doorsets, handrail and balustrading solutions, access control systems, partitioning and cubicle systems.

The company has extensive manufacturing capability and capacity and is committed to the continual development and improvement of its products and services in response to the growing demands through changes in legislation, advances in technology and the changing needs of the market.

LIGI’s ability to provide a complete solution comes as a result of the specialist expertise of each division within the group.

LIG will be present at Stand 2A77 at The Big 5 show.
