Cardente ... significant growth.

THE IBP Group, which has recently invested in a new local warehouse to better serve the Middle East market, will showcase the latest product ranges from Conex Banninger, including fittings, valves and industrial valves, when it exhibits at The Big 5 show.

The new warehouse was set up in response to its growing product portfolio and increasing sales in the region, where it has played an active role for many years with sales of its Conex Banninger fittings.

Elaborating on the benefits of the new warehouse, IBP Group’s international sales director Pietro Cardente says: “With growing sales throughout the Middle East, we have decided that a dedicated warehouse in Dubai in the UAE will better serve the area. We already have a business development manager based in Dubai, along with other colleagues regularly spending time in the region. The warehouse will give us the ability to react quickly to customer needs and is an exciting development following significant sales growth across the region.”

The warehouse is a major investment and a further sign of the confidence of the IBP Group and its international outlook to grow its presence and develop the Conex Banninger brand across the region.

This will include the addition of new Conex Banninger product lines alongside its existing ranges in more markets than ever before. It also highlights a strong commitment to the region with significant and dedicated stock in place to enable it to deliver better levels of service and support to its existing and new customers.

“The opening of the warehouse,” Cardente continues, “will not only serve to stock Conex Banninger fittings, specification and industrial valves, but will act as the first step in developing the IBP Group’s strategic position in the region for its growing portfolio of products including Dietsche bathroom accessories and brassware, along with other complementary building products that the IBP Group currently manufactures and will supply in the future. We are totally open to business throughout the Middle East and this warehouse will help us better serve the region and quickly bring new products to market.”

Conex Banninger has also been busy adding new products to its range. Cardente comments: “The Conex Banninger product range is well known in the Middle East, particularly with established fitting jointing methods like Conex Compression and our extensive range of end feed fittings. We have seen significant growth with our specialist medical gas fittings and our ACR end feed ranges.

“In Europe, there has been an increased demand for more modern fitting solutions and we have also started to promote these products in the Middle East including our pioneering >B< Press fittings, which are available in copper, brass, carbon and stainless steel. We are also investing heavily in a dedicated range of specification and industrial valves, which not only complements our fittings range, but also offers installers a choice of quality valves with the same customer back-up as our fittings. Finally, we are making big advances with our push technology and will be showcasing at The Big 5 our >B< Push, a compact fitting which connects multiple tube types.”

The business first started making plumbing fittings in 1909 and since then has produced and sold around 20 billion fittings across the world. With modern European manufacturing plants, it has an annual capacity in excess of 500 million pieces. Employing 850 personnel across the globe, the business is driven by three simple operational principles: excellence in service, a broad product range and strong customer relations.

“The IBP Group has a simple motto of ‘We Strive for Excellence’, which underpins everything it does,” Cardente adds.
