On show ... Diamond adhesive tapes.

At this year’s Big 5 show, Ramesh Hira, which specialises in heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) supplies for the Middle East, will be introducing Kingspan Access Floors and Thermoscreen Air Curtains, which are expected to be a big draw at the exhibition.

The UAE-based company will be exhibiting alongside its sister concern Hira Industries, a manufacturer of rubber-moulded and extruded products. The company is all set to repeat the success it enjoys at the exhibition every year by showcasing its extensive product portfolio that will also include the Diamond adhesive tapes, Dynair industrial fans, Elicent domestic fans, Diamond clamps and Durodyne ducting accessories, among others.
“We have been participating at the Big 5 show from its inception as it has led to productive sales and a growth in our export figures to markets in the Middle East. The show also helps in brand building and we intend to promote our wide range of HVAC supplies, rubber-moulded and extruded products, adhesive tapes and air handling units accessories, alongside our new products at the show this year,” says Manish Hira, a spokesperson for the company.

• Ramesh Hira, which offers high-quality products in the fields of ventilation, air-conditioning and plumbing targeted at electromechanical contractors. Since its establishment in 1980, the company has had its products specified in most of the major construction projects in the Middle East countries and abroad such as Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, Jordan and Kenya, with a strong and loyal distribution network and customer base;
• Hira Industries, a leading producer of moulded and extruded rubber products. Established in 2002, the company has the capability to produce a wide range of rubber products according to customer specifications. With a well-experienced production and sales staff, the company manufactures products that were previously not produced in the UAE. Today, rubber products from its factory are exported worldwide;
• Hira Adhesive Tapes Division, has been active in the trading and value of adhesive tapes in the region since 1985. A newly-acquired Al Quoz coating plant in Dubai will now enable the company to coat many speciality adhesive tapes for the Middle East, Africa and European markets; and
• Seven Star Tradelinks in Mumbai, India, is a manufacturer of air handling unit accessories and distributor for many established air-conditioning and ventilation brand names in India.
Commenting on the company’s plans for the future, Hira says: “We are planning a further expansion of our production capacity as well as a geographical expansion into new market territories.
The company has been growing from strength to strength in its domestic sector and is now building a new plant in Dubai Investment Park (DIP) while expanding its overall production capacity at its factories at Al Quoz Industrial Area 4 and Deira in Dubai as well as in Abu Dhabi. The new 100,000 sq ft factory is expected to be ready in June next year.
While its primary markets are the GCC countries including Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and UAE, which according to Hira hold good growth potential.
Established in 1980 in the UAE, by Ramesh Hira, an enterprising HVAC engineer from India, the company is staffed by around 160 employees. Ramesh Hira and Hira Industries are certified with the international standards of ISO 9001 accredited through KPMG.
