Turkish manufacturer Panel Sistem Refrigeration returns to the Big 5 after a gap of three years, optimistic about a warm reception to its cool display. 

On show at this year's event will be an array of new products that showcase the company as a pioneer in the design and production of refrigeration systems.
Following its successful participation at the Big 5 show in 2003, where it appointed an agent in Kenya to tap the African market, the company is looking at expanding into new markets.
“Business has been improving over the past year. While our domestic market in Turkey is getting smaller, our export figures have been steadily rising,” says Ulas Sinan Aslan, spokesperson for the company. “We have also opened a new office in Antalya in the south of Turkey and are also planning to expand our existing facility within a year,” he adds.
Established in 1991 in Turkey and staffed by around 40 employees, Panel Sistem Refrigeration is the leading manufacturer of refrigeration units for cold stores and other outlets. The company has been focusing on growth through maintaining a policy of high production quality and product innovation.  It has recently set up a new testing section that consists of four separate units for production end testing of commercial refrigeration units.
The company offers a wide range of products in conformity with European safety standards and CE marked, which are exported to various countries across the globe. These include:
• Olimpos silent outdoor units and side split type refrigeration units that are available as 33 individual models for cold and freezer room applications with refrigeration capacity ranging from 1.198 W to 14.590 W (with scroll compressors, cooling capacity can go up to 28 kW). They feature hermetic reciprocating compressors with the condensers air cooled by axial fans and protective casing against outdoor weather conditions. They are delivered and charged with nitrogen and electrically ready to start-up as soon as they are installed;
• Asos and Efes Monoblock and Kemer ceiling-type Monoblock refrigeration units that are each available as 21 individual models for both cold and freezer room applications with refrigeration capacity ranging from 1.198 W up to 6.354 W. They employ hermetic reciprocating compressors with the condensers being air-cooled by axial fans. The system is an all-in-one body compact unit delivered as charged with Freon and ready to start-up with the casing protected against outdoor weather conditions;
• Lara Industrial Type Monoblock Refrigerating System available as 22 individual models for cold and freezer room applications with refrigeration capacity ranging from 4,820 W up to 38,700 W.
• Marmaris multi-compressor silent condensing unit and Halikarnas multi-compressor central units suitable for chilled, cold and freezer rooms and a wide range of other multi-purpose cooling requirements. Specially designed on project basis, they can employ either semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors or scroll compressors. The condensers are separate and air cooled by fans;
• Truva Industrial Type Refrigerating Systems are available as 62 individual models for cold and freezer room applications with refrigeration capacity ranging from 4,820 W up to 119,900 W. They employ semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors and the condensers are air-cooled by axial fans. The system incorporates a remote control panel;
• Bodrum water-chilling units – suitable for comfort and process uses with a capacity range of 1,585 W to 382,000 W -comprises 26 models that use either scroll or semi-hermetic compressors. Condenser could be air-cooled or water-cooled on demand. As standard evaporator, the unit employs shell and tube evaporator but could be replaced with plate heat exchanger on request. Water tank and other water line equipment are optional as a separate water station.
