Burooj Properties has launched Sharjah Marina with an investment of Dh15 billion ($4.08 billion), under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.

Located at Al Khan peninsula, the 10 million sq ft marina with panoramic marine views will stand out as one of the most iconic real estate undertakings featured in the UAE skyline, says a company spokesman.
Sharjah Marina – a premium community inspired by historic Islamic architecture – will offer its residents a rare opportunity to live in a community that has been planned to meet the growing needs of the modern family, featuring a variety of housing options and world-class facilities.
The project will incorporate a waterfront amphitheatre, to showcase cultural events and an architecturally-unique mosque surrounded by a landscaped park. The marina development will have a marina beach club, spas, and a fitness and tourist centre.
Adel Al Zarouni, managing director, Burooj Properties, said: “Sharjah Marina will provide a complete set of lifestyle options and we are committing ourselves to the provision of high-quality finishing and luxurious amenities.”
Easa Altenaijy, CEO, Sharjah Marina project, said: “The contemporary lifestyle development with a 2,000 m by 60 m water canal, is surrounded by low-rise buildings specifically modelled in Arab design. It will also include cultural museums, 2,500 m of public beach, a family-oriented park and a wide range of food-courts.”
Sharjah Marina combines commercial, residential, retail and tourism interests. The project will include a residential, commercial and entertainment cluster comprising four hotels and also feature one of the largest malls in the emirate.
