Established in 1971, Electro Industries manufactures various kinds of signage and advertising material and telecommunication products.
The company, which has exhibited in earlier Saudi Build shows, sees the event as a good opportunity to present its products to customers.
''It is one of the premier exhibitions for building materials in the Kingdom and the Gulf,'' says divisional manager Hamzeh Bdier.
''We intend to promote the interior signage system for buildings called Interface System, traffic signs, marble inlays and various methods of cutting different types of materials without changing its properties,'' he says.
"We have the facility to produce custom-designed signage and marble floor inlays."
The Interface System is a clear, aesthetically satisfying and functional modular architectural signage system, he says.
''A special key permits the change of sign messages easily, without redoing the entire sign,'' continues Bdier. ''The convenience of managing the signs in-house eliminates the waste in time and money.''
The acrylic surface of the Interface System makes it durable and attractive. The typography is made with vinyl cutout, designed for clarity and readability.
''The signage business is increasing steadily in Saudi Arabia and many big projects are in the pipeline. We hope to participate in them as a premier supplier of signage material,'' says Tareq Otibi, another divisional manager.
''As pioneers we try to lead our industry to high levels of quality and service and create more business opportunities,'' he says.
The company has recently added a state-of-the-art digital printing machine to its facilities to serve a wide range of clients in the field of advertising.
Among some of the recent projects undertaken by the company are: Harvey Nichols, Holiday Inn Al Riyadh, Mina Tent Project and Dubai traffic signs.
Electro Industries has branches in Riyadh and Al Khobar (Saudi Arabia) and Dubai (UAE) and offices in Beirut (Lebanon) and London (UK). It has plans to open new branches to serve a larger clientele, says Otibi.
The company has around 1,000 employees. ''We have highly qualified staff to ensure the quality to serve our esteemed clients,'' he says. Some of the prestigious clients include McDonalds, Burger King, Al Rajhi Bank, Saudi American Bank and Saudi Aramco.
Electro Industries achieved a turnover of $16 million in 1998, he adds.
