Inara Company Limited, a specialist in lighting and electrical fixtures, is to introduce new products and new ideas at Saudi Build 2000.

Established in 1989, Inara is a sole agent / distributor for various internationally-known European, American and Australian manufacturers.

The products the company deals with include indoor and outdoor lamps, electrical fixtures, dimming systems, switches and wiring accessories.

The company is also the exclusive exporter and agent for marketing Saudi Lighting's range of products, says Engineer Abdul Rahman Mustafa, projects manager.

Inara has its head office in Riyadh and branch offices in Jeddah, Damman and Al Hassa. Offices in the Gulf and other Arab countries include Inara Dubai, Inara Lebanon and Inara Jordan.

The company employs 75 staff and has a turnover of $24 million.

Inara has participated at previous Saudi Build exhibitions and has found it very profitable. "It helps us meet new and prospective clients/suppliers and friends in the same field of business," says Mustafa.

The company has been successful in negotiating deals at the earlier events.

Inara will promote the dimming system from Lutron Electronics and Busch & Jaeger's switches and wiring accessories at the event.

The company is targeting only at the domestic market in the exhibition.

The Year 2000 has been very good for the company. It is much better compared to last year, says Mustafa.

The business in the domestic market is very good and improving year by year, he says.

Speaking on new developments in the company, he says the company has received new agencies such as Lamp (Spain) and Tutron (US). Inara's new local assembly plant has also started functioning under the name of Inara Decorative Factory.

The new range of products which will be produced/assembled at the plant will serve the domestic and the Gulf markets, he says.

The company has supplied to several major projects in Kuwait, Bahrain, the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Yemen, Jordan, Lebanon, Cyprus, Libya, Ireland, Sudan, Eritrea and Malta.

On future plans, he says Inara will try to introduce the latest and most advanced technology in lighting fixtures and accessories.

The company will be at Stand No. 431 at Saudi Build 2000.
