Saudi Builds

Product launchpad

The Riyadh-based Raghadan Paint Company will use Saudi Build 2000 as a launchpad for its new products and hopes to capitalise on the exposure the event provides.

The company, which has taken part in previous Saudi Build exhibitions, speaks highly of the event.

Raghadan Paint Company, established in 1974, has been successfully operating in the paints business for more than 25 years within the Kingdom and in other neighbouring countries.

"We are producing, supplying, applying and distributing quality paints," says marketing director Dr Hisham Ali.

"We are the sole agent of world-famous paint manufacturers such as Kansai Paint Company of Japan, Akzo Nobel of Europe, Artilin of France, Colorificio San Marco of Italy, Vernisi Melisi of Italy and many others."

Commenting on Raghadan's presence at Saudi Build, Ali says. "We will be participating in the forthcoming Saudi Build 2000 in October as we have done in the past. We have always enjoyed a very good response from the market at the exhibition and we use the event as a launchpad for our new products, which in turn will help us boost our sales.

"Raghadan offers a wide range of coating products which serves the needs of every segment of the industry such as for construction project and wooden furniture."

The company's range of anti-microbial paints have been well-received in the market. The product has been purpose-designed for hospitals, health centres, medical clinics, schools and other facilities where health and sanitation are primary importance.

"It is the only one approved by the Saudi Ministry of health as a real anti-bacterial paint," claims Ali.

The company has an annual turnover of approximately SR100 million ($26.6 million) and a multinational workforce of 300 employees.

Raghadan has its head office at Mursallat square, King Abdul Aziz Road, in Riyadh and has 10 branches in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Hofuf, Khamis Mushait, Makkah and Madinah cities. It also has 75 distributors located throughout the Kingdom.

In addition, the company has also established offices and distribution centres in Jordan and Egypt and has appointed distributors in Yemen, Kuwait, Bahrain and Lebanon.

The company also recently boosted its operations by opening a high-tech manufacturing facility in Riyadh New Industrial Area.

"With the new business partnership in the field of manufacturing, we serve totally the needs of the private and government sectors in Saudi Arabia as well as neighbouring Gulf countries," Ali says.

"Our exposure and experience on private and government projects with top contractors such as Saudi Oger and Binladin Group are our key assets which can be quoted proudly anywhere in the painting business," he adds.
